What about the name...?

It's an unusual name for a maritime consultancy - and that's intentional.

When our founder, Peter Massolt, was serving as a Chief Engineer, another Chief Engineer once remarked that many crew members tried to schedule their contracts when Peter was on board. He jokingly said that this left him with the "B-team". 

Peter replied: 

"There are no A-Teams or B-Teams. There are only teams with different levels of competence. Our job is to help every team become an A-Team." 

That philosophy transformed the crew into one of the fleet's best-performing teams. More importantly, it became the foundation of Peter's approach: developing people, strengthening teamwork, and creating a culture of continuous improvement. 

When Peter later founded his consultancy, former colleagues encouraged him to build the business around that philosophy - and the name naturally followed. 

Because every ship deserves an A-Team.
